PFLAG’s mission is to educate and advocate for equality for our LGBTQ family and friends As family and friends of LGBTQ people, the Cape Fear Chapter of PFLAG stands strong to reach out to the wider community by providing speakers for clubs, churches, etc., participating in panel discussions and providing assistance with Gay-Straight Alliance development and support. We have a story to tell that will hopefully increase knowledge and understanding of our LBGTQ community and empower people to stand up for the rights of LGBTQ people they know.
